Fear can destroy you. The right kind of fear can elliminate the wrong kind of fear. The believer who is hidden in Christ should never be afraid.

Isaiah 43:2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee; when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

Man's greatest fear is physical death, but he should be more fearful of spiritual death. The Bible speaks of the sting of death. The Lord Jesus removed the sting of death through his sacrifice on the cross.

Stop fearing what people think, such as: Will they be angry with me or still be my friend? Will they appreciate what I'm doing? We should be more concerned about what God thinks.

Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. 

Fearing God is to respect who He is. If you love, trust, and obey Him, you have nothing to fear.
