Did you ever analyze and calculate a venture

. . . or problem and arrive at a brilliant solution you felt good about?  Planning is a good thing.
Sometimes "fix-everything-people' take on a project that should be prayed over, and then they say,  "Here's the plan, Lord. Let's run with it." Woah! Wait a minute. God might have a different perspective, one with a spiritual impact.
Isaiah 55:8,9  For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith The Lord.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
The best of plans are fickle without God's input. The older I get, the more I say, "Lord, I really don't know what I'm doing, even though I think I do. I need your help."
Proverbs 3:6  In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.
