One of the six recorded songs

. . . waiting to be played at my funeral is about Jesus walking with me. When Jake Hess sings I Have Never Walked Alone, emotions tug at the mountains and valleys -- especially the valleys -- seasoning my memory.
Jesus was there the times I whispered, "I just don't know what to do." He was there when I skipped church five years. He walked me back. He was there with comfort and assurance when cancer jammed my path. He was there at every twist in the road, holding my hand, leading the way.
I thank God for a good life, blessed with a great family and many sweet church fellowships over the years. I hope I live much longer with an alert mind. Whatever happens, I know one thing for sure. I will never walk alone.
Isaiah 43:2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee; when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
