CAN YOU WORSHIP GOD WITHOUT ATTENDING CHURCH?

Some folks say, "You don't have to go to church to worship God." That's a true statement.

And some folks say, "You can worship God just as well without going to church." That's a false statement. If that were true, then why did Christ organize the church, establishing two church ordinances: Baptism and Communion (Taking the Lord's Supper).

Hebrews 10:25  Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another; and so much the more as ye see the day approaching.

Jesus is present in a special way when the saints gather to worship Him. In Scriptures, the church is called the body of Christ and the bride of Christ. These are very intimate terms. Jesus loved the church and gave himself for her. If we are saved, we should love the church, too.

When we honor the local assembly of baptised believers -- the local church, we honor Jesus.
