Matthew 6:20,21 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal; For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Laying up treasures is using all we have and are for the glory of God. it means measuring life by riches of the kingdom and not by false riches of this world.
If your heart is filled with the peace, joy, and hope of God, you're laying up treasures.
Some treasures are special blessings in your life. I'll never forget when God audibly spoke to me before surgery, "Don't worry, everything is going to be all right." His sweet spirit was awesome. Years later Jesus wrapped His reassuring arms around me after breast cancer surgery. It was so real.
