When the Lamb of God was presented as the perfect offering for sin, it wasn't some antiseptic, sanitary event. His horrible crucifixion was brutal beyond belief.
Hebrews 15:11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering often times the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
12. But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God.
What love! No one has to die in their sins. Anybody who will believe in Jesus by faith can be saved from their sins, its power and penalty (death).
John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Between the cross and the crown is a monumental event called the resurrection. Jesus arose from the dead to secure eternal life for all who believe in Him. Herein is hope for eternity.
