Prayer, A Priority

Mark 1:34,35  And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him. And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.

Why did Jesus need to pray? After all, He was God in the flesh. Jesus prayed because He lived His life in total submission to  the Father. He prayed because He wanted a totally unhindered fellowship with His Father.

Prayer must become a priority If you want the power of God in your life. Do you want close fellowship with the Lord? Do you want to be used to the fullest of your potential? If so,  make prayer a priority in your life.

How? Set aside a time to pray and stick to it.  Find  a place where there are no distractions. Get away from the phone, the TV, the computer and any other distraction and pour your heart out to the Lord.

If your prayer life is lacking, ask God to help you.
