2 Samuel 22:6-7 The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me; In my distress I called upon the Lord and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.
There were many times in David’s life when the gates of cities were closed to him --- times when he couldn’t go into Jerusalem or run to the Tabernacle. King Saul, jealous of David’s victories, wanted to kill him. But when David lifted his cry to God, God heard him and moved in power to help him.
God’s ears are ever open to our cry. He invites us to flee to Him in our hour of trouble. When we do we will find Him to be all David said He was and more. He truly is “all we need”.
The longer I serve The Lord, the sweeter he grows. He has moved mountains for me, met my needs and worked things out I didn’t understand. It was all for his glory. That‘s something worth singing about. Praise His holy name.
