Isaiah 6:5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.
When Isaiah saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, his unclean heart was overwhelming.
If we ever see God as He is and see ourselves as we are, we will realize our need for repentance, q cleansing.
Isaiah 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
As Isaiah confesses his sins, his heart is cleansed, and he hears the call of the Lord to service. Believers need to come to the place where nothing is as important as what God wants from our lives. We need to submit, surrender and sacrifice to Him. We need to say, “Here am I; send me.”
