Psalm 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
I want to know ahead of time what I’m cooking for supper and who will win the election. I want to know the twists and knots churning the dust of my tomorrows. I can’t know election results or the future, but I can say, “Surely the LORD is my Shepherd and I will not want.”
Tomorrow, if my Lord wants to mold me to His image with twists and knots, I won’t fear because His rod and His staff will comfort me. His goodness and mercy will follow me and supply my needs---all of them. One day my faith will end in sight, and I’ll dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Oh, how I long for the house of the Lord----forever.
