Too many Christians think that conversion is the only important experience and that nothing follows. Wrong. After conversion, a life-changing work of Christ begins, ever making us like Him.
Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
By feeding on the Word of God and fervent prayer (Eph. 3:20-21), the Lord Jesus equips us to walk upright for His glory. Should His good pleasure permit suffering (1 Peter 4:11-14), we get back in the Word and pray more, and the cycle is repeated.
Believers are the workmanship of Christ until we become like Him. Then will we see Him.
