What a joy to celebrate Thanksgiving early with two of my three children and their families---one who lives in a foreign land with her husband (spreading the gospel) and the other working holidays. Eight years is a long time to wait for this.
Should we write a thankful list, I’m pretty sure family would be at the top but the rest will vary according to what God has done in each life.
Saints of God lists---especially those intimate with Jesus---may write praise and honor for how He brought them through trouble, pain, and fear.
1 Peter 1:7-9 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
Believers can be thankful for the hope we have in Jesus---“rejoicing in the end of our faith, even the salvation of our souls”.
