In the valleys of life we are reminded of several great truths that we often forget when life is easy. We are reminded that:
—Jesus is always with us - Hebrews 13:5.
—Even our valleys are planned by the Lord - Romans 8:28.
—Our trials are helping us grow in the Lord - 2 Cor. 4:17.
—Something better is waiting down the way - Rom. 8:18.
—When times are bad, God is still good - Job 1:20-21.
We would rather be spared from the valleys of life, but when we come out on the other side we will know the Lord better and be stronger in the faith.
2 Corinthians 4:17-18 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
