Psalm 23:2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
The Great Shepherd knows His sheep need the cool waters of His grace to make it through this world.
He knows we need places of stillness where we can rest and reflect on Him and His blessings.
He cares about the things we are facing, 1 Pet. 5:7, and He provides a place of peace and safety from them, Matt. 11:28.
We don’t always like where the path of life leads us, but if we are following the Good Shepherd we can be assured that He will lead us in the right path, Psa. 37:23.
