There’s pain involved in retrieving the lily from among the thorns. It cost Jesus much to buy us from our sins.
We can sing of the lofty doctrines of the faith, but the most profound truth of them all is contained in that precious truth—“Jesus Loves Me This I Know”.
Jesus sees everything we do—the right, the wrong, every defect and flaw—but He loves us still.
Jesus knew us before He saved us, and He saved us still. He knew we would fail Him daily, but He loves us still. What A Savior!
He has written His love for us in His Word and in His cross. We are special in His eyes,
Jeremiah 31:3 The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
