The angels praised God at Creation (Job 38:7) as they behold His wonderful works. They praised Him around the throne in Revelation 7:11-12.
But when they saw God step off the throne and be born as a baby in human flesh, their song reaches new heights as the shepherds watch in awe.
Luke 2:13-14 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
If the angels can praise God for what they see Him do, then we should praise Him for what He has done in our hearts and lives, Psa. 40:1-2.
What are you looking for this Christmas? If it’s some material thing that you think you must have, you may be disappointed even if you get it.
But if you are seeking the Christ of Christmas, you will never be disappointed. He is still found of all who seek Him, and He still changes all who meet Him.
