Alone With God

It was on the lonely hills of Judea with a flock of sheep, the starry sky, and the vast expanse of nature that David learned some of the most valuable and basic lessons of life.
He learned how to be alone with God and with himself.  Away from distractions and noise, David learned to hear the voice of God and to commune with Him.

David learned how to worship the Lord and to be at peace with himself.

Jesus found time to be alone with His Father.

Mark 1:35  And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.

If Jesus needed time with the Father, so do we.

We shouldn’t fear the times of solitude, when God shuts us off with Himself. It’s in these times that we learn to hear His voice and walk with Him. In these times God prepares us for greater things.

Find you a quiet place where you can commune with God.
