The Lord will help us learn to do the things that please Him. There is a special promise to those who keep His Word because they love Him.
John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
As we trust and obey the Lord, we will see His beauty, His fulness, His grace and righteousness, His power, and His glory.
Since our works reveal so much about our lives and our love for the Lord, perhaps we need to take inventory and see how our works stack up to the Lord's will.
Psalm 139:23-24 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
