Our Help And Hope

When Jesus was tempted, He used the Word of God, Matt. 4:1-11.

When He was on the cross He quoted Scriptures three times, Matt. 27:46; John 19:28; Luke 23:46.

Jesus often quoted the Bible for comfort and strength. How much more do we need that kind of help?

It’s obvious, we need to be well acquainted with the Bible, to memorize those precious verses we run to for help and strength like Jesus did.

Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

I’ve read through the Bible a few times, at least a chapter almost every day. It’s always refreshing, enlightening, and enforces me with strength, hope, and love.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
