It’s a worthy goal for every believer to live for the Lord, to love the Lord, and to lean on the Lord when we have needs.
David’s song of victory is a song believers can sing as well.
Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
If we love Him, the Lord will give us all the strength we need to make it through life.
When we see our difficulties through the eyes of our Lord — our “Rock” — we will want to worship Him, Job 1:20-21.
God — our fortress — is our place of perfect peace and safety.
We don’t know what we will face in our tomorrows, but we can know that God is in control and will give us what we need to face it. 2 Cor. 12:9-10; Isa. 43:2; Heb. 4:14-16.
