Our praise says a lot about how much we value the Lord. If He is valuable to us, we will find ways to praise Him.
Psalm 106:1 Praise ye the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
What motivates us to praise God?
— Fixing our hearts on Him, Ps 57:7; 108:1.
— Meditating on His works and ways, Ps 77:11 ff.
— Recalling His benefits, Ps 103:2.
— Dwelling on His unspeakable gift, 2 Cor 9:15; 2 Cor. 8:9
— Praise God because He is good — For His mercy endures forever.
Worship and praise are a personal gift from us to the Lord.
