The disciples thought they were going to die in a storm because Jesus was asleep in the back of their ship.
Mark 4:38-39 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
Jesus was able to calm the storm with a simple command, “Peace be still.” He has spoken the same powerful words time and again when I needed it most. I praise Him for those precious moments in my life.
There are no incurables with Jesus and no hopeless situations.
Whether salvation or healing or any worrisome situation, we can be assured that Jesus is the only hope we have.
“The winds and the waves shall obey Thy will; — peace, peace be still.”
“The winds and the waves shall obey Thy will; — peace, peace be still.”
