I Know My Redeemer Lives

What Job faced was his worst-case scenario. He lost it all. What he endured was horrible, but what he learned was priceless.

Scratching boils, grieving the loss of his children and his wealth, he begins to look beyond his dilemma to some things he can rejoice in.

Job 19:25-26 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:

[26] And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:

I don’t know a lot of things, but — like Job — I’m glad I know that my Redeemer lives and that I will see Him some day.

I find comfort, hope and strength in the thought of it.

When life is rough and you feel defeated, there are some sure facts that can bring you
joy.
