Whispering Hope

Lamentations 3:24-25 The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.  . . . . [25] The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.

God will never fail those who place their trust in Him, Isa. 49:23; Rom. 10:11.

Not a single Word of any of His precious promises will ever fail to be honored by Him, Matt. 5:18; Psa. 119:89-90; Isa. 40:8.

God knows where you are and what you are going through, Job 23:10.  He will not forsake you, but He will faithfully keep you and bring you out, in His time, Psa. 34:15-22.

That gives us hope.

“Soft as the voice of an angel —  Breathing a lesson unheard — Hope with a gentle persuasion —Whispers her comforting word.

“Wait, till the darkness is over — Wait, till the tempest is done — Hope, for the sunshine tomorrow — After the shower is gone.

“Whispering hope — Oh how welcome Thy voice — Making my heart — In it’s sorrow rejoice.

“If in the dusk of the twilight — Dim be the region afar — Will not the deepening darkness — Brighten the glimmering star.

“Then when the night is upon us — Why should the heart sink away — When the dark midnight is over — Watch for the breaking of day.”
