I hear that many modern churches don’t mention the blood of Jesus in sermon or song, and the word “blood” is missing from some translations of the Bible.
That’s sad because without trusting in the shed blood of Jesus for salvation, a person’s eternity is doomed.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Matthew 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
“Bearing shame and scoffing rude, In my place condemned He stood’. Sealed my pardon with His blood: Hallelujah! What a Savior!” Philip P. Bliss.
All we had to contribute to our salvation was sin. Jesus contributed His blood. And, His blood washes away all of our sins. Eph.1:7.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Below are some wonderful songs written about the precious blood of Jesus:
— There Is Power In The Blood
— Are You Washed In The Blood?
— There Is a Fountain Filled With Blood
— Nothing But The Blood
The Blood Will Never Lose It’s Power

“The blood that Jesus shed for me. — Way back on Calvary, — The blood that gives me strength from day to day, — It will never lose its power.
Chorus
“It reaches to the highest mountain; — It flows to the lowest valley. — The blood gives me strength from day to day, — It will never lose its power.
“It soothes my doubts and calms my fears. — And it dries all my tears. — The blood that gives me strength from day to day, — It will never lose its power.”
