Every child of God ought to have a song in their soul, for we are told to sing our songs of praise to Him.
Psalm 100:2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
Ps 68:32 Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord; Selah:
We might think that the way this old world is twisting out of shape, that we don’t have much to sing about.
Oh, but we do. We can sing about our blessings. We can sing with assurance about our Lord and Savior coming back.
James 5:8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
Revelation 1:7-8 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
[8] I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Until then, I’m going to go on singing.

“My heart can sing when I pause to remember. — A heartache here is but a stepping stone — Along a trail that's winding always upward. — This troubled world is not my final home.
Chorus
“But until then my heart will go on singing. — Until then with joy I'll carry on. — Until the day my eyes behold the City, — Until the day God calls me home.
“The things of earth will dim and lose their value — If we recall they're borrowed for a while; — And things of earth that cause this heart to tremble — Remember there will only bring a smile.
“This weary world with all its toil and struggle — May take its toll of misery and strife; — The soul of man is like a waiting falcon; — When it's released, it's destined for the skies.
“But until then my heart will go on singing.”
