Job 19:25-26 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:
[26] And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:
When life is rough and we feel defeated, there are some facts that can give us assurance, strength, and hope.
— We know Jesus, and He knows us, and He still loves us.
— If we are six feet under at the graveyard when Jesus comes in the clouds to catch us up (Rapture), our bodies will rise, changed in the likeness of Christ; 1 Thes. 4:16-18, 1 Cor. 15:51-52.
— Jesus is going to return as He promised; John 14:1-3; Rev. 22:20. The King of Kings and Lord of Lords will reign over all the earth. Rev. 19:11-16.
— Jesus is able to do all He has promised to do; Rom. 4:21; Psa. 145:13.
I find blessed assurance and strength in this.
Blessed Assurance

“Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine! — Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine! — Heir of salvation, purchase of God, — Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.
Chorus:
“This is my story, this is my song, — Praising my Savior all the day long; — This is my story, this is my song, — Praising my Savior all the day long.
“Perfect submission, perfect delight, — Visions of rapture now burst on my sight; — Angels, descending, bring from above — Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.
“Perfect submission, all is at rest, — I in my Savior am happy and blest, — Watching and waiting, looking above, — Filled with His goodness, lost in His love.
