Peace In The Valley

Most people want peace in their lives, their homes, their town, their state, and their country.

It seems peace is hard to come by and real peace is unless you personally know the Lord Jesus Christ.

John 14:27  Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

According to Bible prophecy, we will have world peace when Jesus rules, and He definitely will. Read about it in Isaiah Chapter Eleven.

There will be peace even among the animals.

Isaiah 11:5-6  And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

[6] The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

When Jesus rules, there will be “Peace In The Valley”.

“I am tired and so weary   —   But I must toil on   —   Till the lord comes to call me away.   —   Where the morning is bright   —   And the Lamb is the light   —   And the night is as fair as the day.

Chorus:

“There’ll be peace in the valley for me, some day   —   There will be peace in the valley for me, I pray.   —   No more sorrow and sadness or trouble will be.    —   There’ll be peace in the valley for me.

“There the flow’rs will be blooming,   —    the grass will be green,   —   And the skies will be clear and serene.   —   The sun ever shines giving one endless beam   —   And no clouds there will ever be seen.

“The bear will be gentle   —   And the wolf will be tame   —

And the lion shall lay down with the lamb.   —   And the beasts from the wild   —   Will be led by a child   —   And I'll be changed from this creature that I am.”
