1 Peter 1:18-19 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
[19] But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
The blood of Jesus has power to cleanse 1 John 1:7. to conquer Rev. 12:11, and to comfort, Col. 1:20.
Andrae Crouch wrote his first song at the age of fourteen titled “The Blood Will Never Lose It’s Power”,
At a friend’s party, being shy, instead of joining everyone in the back yard, he went in the house and sat down at an upright piano.
He prayed, “Lord, ‘God, I really love you. I would love to write songs for you. If you would give me a song, I will live for you forever.”
Suddenly, in his mind he could see Jesus carrying his cross up to Calvary, and he said, “Oh, the blood!” He began to sing, “The blood that Jesus shed for me . . . . “
The people in the backyard, mostly the small church choir where his father pastored, heard him and came inside. As they joined in his song, they began to cry.
The Blood Will Never Lose It’s Power

The blood that Jesus she'd for me, — Way back on Calvary; — The blood that gives me strength — From day to day, — It will never lose it's power.
Chorus:
It reaches to the highest mountain, — It flows to the lowest valley; — The blood that gives me strength — From day to day, — It will never lose it's power.
It soothes my doubts and calms my fears, — And it dries all my tears; — The blood that gives me strength — From day to day, — It will never lose it's power.
