Jeremiah 29:11,13 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
[13] And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
God used a time when Israel thought they were forgotten and forsaken to make them stronger and better for His glory.
He also has specific thoughts about our tomorrows.
If He knows when the sparrow falls to the ground, Matt. 10:29,
His eye is constantly upon the affairs of our lives, Pro. 15:3.
I Know Who Holds Tomorrow
____________________________
I don't know about tomorrow. — I just live for day to day. — I don't borrow from the sunshine — For it's skies may turn to gray. __ I don't worry o'er the future — For I know what Jesus said, — And today I'll walk beside Him — For He knows what lies ahead.
CHORUS:
Many things about tomorrow — I don't seem to understand. — But I know who holds tomorrow — And I know who holds my hand.
Ev'ry step is getting brighter — As the golden stairs I climb.— Ev'ry burden's getting lighter, — Ev'ry cloud is silver lined. —There the sun is always shining — There no tear will dim the eye — At the ending of the rainbow — Where the mountains touch the sky.
