1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
[17] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
[18] Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
It is a comfort to know that we will see our loved ones who have gone on to meet the Lord.
That Will Be A Glad Reunion Day
_______________________________
There will be a happy meeting in Heaven, I know. — When we see the many loved ones we've known here below. — Gathered on that blessed hilltop with hearts all aglow, — That will be a glad reunion day.
CHORUS:
A glad day, a wonderful day. — Glad day, a glorious day. — There with all the holy angels and loved ones to stay, — That will be a glad reunion day.
When we live a million years in that wonderful place, — Basking in the love of Jesus, beholding His face. — It will seem but just a moment of praising God's grace. — That will be a glad reunion day.
