ARE YOU LONELY?

Jesus had every reason to be lonely.  John 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

While hanging on the cross, Jesus was forsaken by His friends and His Father in heaven. He died alone.

Matthew 26:56 Then all the disciples forsook him and fled.

We all feel lonely from time to time, but there are people whose every day life is consumed with loneliness. There are many causes: Feelings of rejection, insecurity (low self-esteem), sorrow, tragedy, loss or separation from family or friends. 

You may be lonely, but you are never alone if you know Jesus. Confess to God that you are lonely, and ask Him to fill that void with Himself. Read about His promises and faithfulness in the Bible. Learn to be content. Serve others.
