My parents had rules restricting the social life of their children. I remember asking Mama, “Where does it say in the Bible that we can’t dance or go to the show?” She tried to explain a godly life, but I wanted specifics.
What you do or don’t do isn’t what makes you a spiritual person. Spirituality comes from knowing Jesus and allowing Him to live through you! That will guide you to do the right thing when you aren't sure.
Colossians 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. [2] Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
When believers fill themselves with the things of God and the Word of God, sin can’t get a hold of our hearts.
