In spite of the fact that we live in a difficult world---in the midst of unsettled and uncertain times, believers can enjoy peace in the Lord---even a peace that "passeth all understanding!"
Psalm 37:4-5 Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
God loves and rewards those who delight in Him. When you worship the Lord, get in the Word, surrender to his will, and trust Him you learn the true meaning of delight.
Pleasures of the world change and never satisfy the heart, but The Lord never changes and satisfies those who delight in Him.
Our true source of happiness must rise above the circumstances of life and come to rest in no other place but God Himself. Therein is peace and joy.
Keep your eyes on the sky, wait patiently for the Lord to finish His plan for the ages and know that the best is yet to come.
