On the eve of His death Jesus takes time to encourage His Disciples. They have just been told about His pending death and that one of them will betray Him and another deny Him three times before morning. In their troubled hearts, Jesus takes time to encourage them with hope of a better time and place.
John 14 has been my encourager time and again. Midst the wonders of that Heavenly City, to dwell in the Father's House and in the Father's presence, free from sin, sorrow, and suffering---that’s hope we can cling to.
I could never adequately describe the glories of that place, but I think the Apostle Paul summed it up pretty well.
1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
