Psalm 116:1-2 I love the Lord , because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
It’s a blessing to hear a redeemed sinner say, “I love the Lord.” How precious it is to love God and know He loves us back. Man may not return our love, but God loved us first, and He loves us forever.
It humbles my heart that The Almighty God of the universe inclines His ear to me. The blessing of heard and answered prayers encourages me to keep praying---to have faith when depression or distress enters the door of my life without knocking.
God specializes in lifting the fallen and strengthening the weak. He gave me salvation and eternal life and He’ll do the same for anyone who believes on Jesus. I can’t count the times He replaced my sorrow with joy.
I can never repay The Lord for His goodness, but by His grace I can give my best. I can strive to live right, to study His Word, to pray, to praise Him, and to love others. I can worship Him. I can dedicate my life to Him.
