Mark 4:39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
When Jesus calmed the sea, the disciples were amazed and said, “What manner of man is this?” They learned that He’s the One Who is in control of every puff of wind, every angry wave and every storm. He’s a good man to know. He can corral the waves; lasso the winds and hog tie the storm.
When the storm is raging ---- when your boat is rocking and reeling and the waves are crashing against your vessel ---- Jesus won’t let you sink. He will give you peace.
Matthew 11:28-29 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
