Colossians 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
Jesus is the Supreme Master -- the One in charge. He gives life, direction, goals, and plans to the body, which is the church. We owe Him total submission and obedience.
Jesus is the first fruits from the dead --- the first to die, be buried, and rise again. What happened to Him will happen to all who believe in Him. There will be a great gettin’ up morning some glad day for the saints of God.
Jesus should be first in your life, your job, your recreation, your world, your church, your home; and your heart.
Does He have preeminence in your heart and life? If not, it’s time to invite Jesus to take the place He deserves and died to acquire.
