When I gave piano lessons I heard more than once that a former piano teacher whacked their hands with a ruler if they messed up.
As a new Christian I remember thinking if I didn’t live perfect God would whack me some way. Of course, that wasn’t true because I could never live perfect, but by the grace of God I could live in His strength.
As the Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:10 “But by the grace of God I am what I am. . . .”
Jesus will guide you by His Spirit and give you strength and power to be what He wants you to be. Let Him do that.
And, no matter what happens in your life, never forget this song: “Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so.”
