I think it’s safe to say that no one enjoys facing adversity, but we will at some time or other.
The disciples thought they would perish on the angry sea, but Jesus stepped in the boat and calmed the waters.
Mark 4:40-41 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?
If Jesus was like any other man, I would’ve been scared in the boat, but Jesus calmed the wind and sea. They obeyed Him.
Jesus parted waters, raised the dead, changed water to wine, healed the crippled and the blind, hung the moon and stars and nothing was created without Him.
Jesus takes black sinful hearts, cleanses them, making them white as snow.
How could we not have faith?
