The Ark of Safety

Intermarriage between the godly line of Seth and the ungodly offspring of Cain was an attempt by Satan to pervert the human bloodline and prevent the birth of the Messiah. Gen. 3:15. The children born of this union were evil beyond words. Get. 6:1-5.

God’s solution was to destroy mankind. Gen. 6:6-7

Genesis 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

One man, Noah, was still walking in the ways of the Lord. God gave Him grace, telling him how to build the Ark — a sanctuary against the storm of wrath that was brewing against the sin and evil found on earth

His neighbors must have thought Noah was insane, constructing a ship for dry ground, but the Ark would be the only hope humanity had in that generation.

Can you see how the ancient Ark pictures Jesus? Jesus is our Ark of safety, to be saved from the wrath of God which will be poured out on this world according to prophecy.

Jesus died for your sins and mine on the cross.  He rose from the dead, and He is calling you to come to Him for salvation. I hope you already know Him.

Were it not for the grace of God, Noah would never have known about the flood that would have killed him or the Ark that would have saved him. Both of those were the gift of amazing grace.

Is God calling you to come into the Ark of Salvation today? Seek Him.
