Mark Lowry, mentioned on Facebook a friend dying. He said, “He’s kickin’ up gold”. I’d never heard that expression and it made me smile. I need to be reminded of Glory now and then. Maybe you too.
Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Imagine joining the saints of all ages in the presence of the Lord in His city.
Imagine the martyrs of all ages; the preachers; the faithful church folks, all together in glory.
Imagine being free from death and pain and sin, Rev. 21:8, 27.
Imagine seeing Jesus and God the Father and the Holy Ghost, Rev. 22:4.
One day we won’t have to imagine for we will be there.
“There is coming a day when no heartaches will come — No more clouds in the sky, no more tears to dim the eye. — All is peace forevermore on that happy golden shore — What a day, glorious day that will be.
“What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see — And I look upon His face, — the One who saved me by His grace. — When He takes me by the hand and leads me through the Promised Land. — What a day, glorious day that will be.
“There'll be no sorrow there, — no more burdens to bear — No more sickness, no pain, — no more parting over there. — And forever I will be with the One who died for me — What a day, glorious day that will be.” — Jim Hill
