Everything we believe and hold sacred stands or falls on the resurrection. If Jesus didn’t rise from the dead we are no better than the worst sinner, the Bible is a lie, and we have no hope.
1 Corinthians 15:19-20 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
Because He lives we live. Because He lives we can have everlasting life. Because He lives life is worth living. Thank God for the resurrection!
Matthew 28:6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
He is risen indeed.
