1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
We often do the things that are important to us. We attach value to these things and determine priorities amongst them. Everything in the life of the believer is touched by this principle.
For instance, your church attendance will be determined by the priority it holds in your life. The same is true of prayer, Bible study, witnessing, etc, etc. We do what we think is important.
It’s easy to allow things to hinder our faithfulness to the things of God. We need to make up our minds that Jesus is our first priority. If he is, we will have no trouble serving Him like He deserves to be served. If He isn’t, we will have trouble in this area and that will lead to trouble in all areas of our lives.
