God Is Good

King David had an intimate relationship with the Lord — a man after God’s own heart. .
I’m glad we can know God like David wrote in the Psalms.

Psalm 94:17-19 Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.

This reminds me of a song.

“He kept my enemies away — He let the sun shine through a cloudy day.  — He wrapped me in the cradle of His arms — When He knew I’d been battered and torn.”
 — Helen Baylor

[18] When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O Lord, held me up.

If it hadn’t been for the countless mercies of God, I wonder where we would be.

[19] In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.

I’ll say it again, “God is good!”
