Often it’s the trials of life that bring us closer to the Lord. Looking back at the hard places in my life, I agree.
Jesus was always with me like He said He would be - Heb. 13:5, and — believe me — I grew closer to the Lord - 2 Cor. 4:17.
I have learned that when times are bad, God is still good - Job 1:20-21.
The Word of God says our valleys are planned by the Lord - Rom. 8:28; Isa. 45:7, and that something better is waiting for us - Rom. 8:18.
I can say from experience, when we have gone through the valley and come out on the other side, we will know the Lord better and we will be stronger in the faith.
1 Peter 1:7. That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
