Glory To God In The Highest

The shepherds were outcast by society as vile and filthy and by religion as defiled and unfit to worship.

But God sent the angel to them with the greatest message ever given to earth. Why? Because of pure grace – Eph. 2:8-9.

The angels praised God at Creation – Job 38:7.

When they see Him step off the Heavenly Throne and be born as a baby in human flesh, their song reaches new heights.

Luke 2:13-14 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, \

[14] Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

If they can praise God for what they see Him do, we should praise Him for what He has done in our hearts – Psa. 40:1-2.

“Look up, Fear not, The angel said, —  Behold the Messiah's come, The one of whom you read, — And as they spoke to men that day, — The Heavenly host around the throne joined in to say

“Glory to God in the highest, Peace on earth good will to men, — Heavenly angels announced His arrival in the little town of Bethlehem, — Hallelujah to the Lord, sing Holy, He was born to save the world from sin, — Glory to God in the highest, Glory, Hallelujah to the Lord, Amen.”
