Near the end of his third missionary journey the Apostle Paul is preparing to go to Jerusalem, aware of the danger yet determined to follow Jesus. He shares a brief testimony.
Acts 20:24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
Loved by many and hated by multitudes, Paul had a “Life Worth Living” in spite of beatings, stoning, and imprisonment. He understood that spreading the gospel wasn’t about him but about Jesus. He was willing to die for the cause of Christ – “finishing his course with joy”.
“A Life Worth Living” is anchored in the Rock of Ages in spite of difficulty. It’s a dedicated life.
The Lord Jesus has carried me through many storms and is doing so today.
“A Life Worth Living” begins with faith in Jesus for salvation. Seek Him. Trust him.
