God told the Israelites that if they wanted His blessings, they had to love Him, to walk with Him, and obey His Word.
Deuteronomy 30:15-16 See, I have set before thee this day life and good and death and evil; In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
If you want to experience all of God in your life----first, believe in Him and then make Him your priority and passion through Bible Study and prayer. Surrender to His will, and you will know His presence in wonderful ways.
Oh, you will still experience trials, but God is ever so close during those times, making you strong as you learn to lean on Jesus.
Surrender is hard for most of us. It requires giving up our wants for what The Lord wants for us. His plans are always better.
When I realize that apart from God I am nothing, I want to cleave to my Lord.
