An Eternal Perspective

It’s wise to look ahead and plan ahead----to live our present in light of the future. An eternal perspective lifts a down-trodden spirit of a believer to that of hope.

2 Corinthians 4:18  While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Right now my burden is heavy, but one day it will be laid aside.
Right now I struggle with a sinful nature, but one day there will be no such desires.
Right now I say good bye to friends, family and loved ones but one day I’ll see them in Heaven.
Right now Satan has his way in this world, but one day the knowledge of God will fill the earth.
Right now death is all around me, but one day I will attend the funeral of death.

Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
